Remembrance Sunday 2009
On Sunday November 8th 2009 a contingent of ex-service members of the branch paraded at the Cenotaph on Angel Hill to honour our Glorious Dead. After the service of Remembrance and wreath laying they marched past the dais, led by our standards, where the salute was taken by the Station Commander of RAF Honington who was accompanied on the dais by the Mayor of St Edmundsbury. The contingent marched on to a Service of Remembrance at St Mary's Church.

After the service the Branch hosted 662 Sqn Army Air Corps, recently returned from Afghanistan, at the Constitutional Club. As a mark of appreciation of the Branch's association with the squadron the Commanding Officer presented our President, Ron Day, with a superb framed print of an Apache AH1 helicopter operated by the squadron.
